How did my journey start?

 

It began 6 years ago during my last pregnancy. I had to stop going to the gym due to constant fatigue and lower back pain. I missed activities like Spinning and Cardio Boxing, but my body was telling me to slow down.

 

Curious to find a solution, I researched ways to relieve the pain and discovered Pilates. I started following online classes, and within months, my lower back pain, along with recurring neck and shoulder issues, disappeared. The discipline paid off.

 

When I returned to work, I took advantage of my parental leave and began training to become a Pilates instructor. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I trained with Smartbody in Amsterdam, and the experience empowered me in ways I never expected.

 

A few months later, I started teaching one group class alongside my corporate job. A year later, I made the leap and left my corporate career to teach Pilates full-time.

 

Now, I balance raising three kids with a fulfilling career, helping others live pain-free. I teach in English and French.

Let me tell you a little more about who I am.

 

I'm 41, originally from the South of France, and have lived in Brielle, South Holland, for 12 years with my British husband, three kids and two cats.

 

I used to love biology classes in high school, I was fascinated by the human body, how complicated some processes could be but also how simple some mechanics or physics principles were. Now, I did not become a doctor but I love being a Pilates instructor and I thrive to stay educating myself.

 

I’m a foodie who bakes weekly for the family, an extrovert who enjoys connecting with people, and someone who values quiet time knitting while listening to music or podcasts.

I love the sea, wholesome food, and water sports. I’ve learned that taking care of myself is key to being my best for others.

 

Energetic, curious, and optimistic, I live my life with enthusiasm. I’m also pragmatic and detail-oriented. In Pilates, I’ll guide you to perform exercises precisely and help you understand their purpose—while sharing a few laughs along the way.
